Created in the early 1880s, rye whiskey was the original base; however, bourbon is often substituted. Wild Parallel Straight Bourbon, with its high rye mash build, is the best of both worlds. Bourbon, vermouth, and bitters are hard to beat.

2 oz Wild Parallel Straight Bourbon
1 oz sweet vermouth
2 dashes aromatic bitters

Method: Stirred
Glass: Nick & Nora
Garnish: Cherry

Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass, add ice and stir. Strain into a Nick & Nora glass and garnish.
